Best friend

She's broken from all the pain, her wrist are cover with scars and her eyes always teary, I'm the only one that believes that she is a good person, because she is. What did she ever do to get this family, friends. I'm her only hope of life she has left. I'm her best friend and I'll always be her best friend. I tell her to escape in her mind when all things go wrong, I'm the only one that keeps her from going all the way. People want her dead, they will do anything just to kill her and she did nothing, how can people be so cruel. I'm her only string of life, I'm the only hope she has. Her sister never cared or even her grandparents don't do anything. She's afraid, she's afraid of men, to scared to go close to them. She's afraid that it will happen again, like when she was little, every man she knew raped her. She's broken, I'm her only friend, the only one that understand her and that will listen to her, the one she can count on. Her mother is hurting her and her father she never knew.
